What's a writer without creativity? Is his work not comparable to the blandness of unflavored gelatin? We can discuss the importance of logic and how imagination only hinders the state of reality. But I've already come to this conclusion: imagination is a prelude to reality. We as humans are natural-born inventors. We invent cars and trains, boats and planes. We invent watercolor paintings of men and women whose eyes absorb each figment of the universe. Asteroids and meteoroids, giants and dwarfs - they all comprise the scope of our vision. And the things we invent are once-upon-a-time products of our imagination. They weren't always part of reality, but they are now. Of course, if we deny the authenticity of our ideas - how quickly an artistic concept can become tangible - then the reality that remains is nothing short of dull and disappointing. What is the purpose of a creative mindset without pursuit? Without utilization? Imagination is a gift, a precursor of real-life fantasies. While it might not shape everyone's future, it might just shape someone's.
A sort of philosophical piece. Just exploring one perspective on imagination and reality. Enjoy! :halfmoon:
